Azerbaijan’s Energy Ministry hosted the 9th meeting of the Working Group on coordination and monitoring of the implementation of green technologies and energy efficiency requirements in the country’s liberated territories.
Speaking at the meeting, Parviz Shahbazov, Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister and Chairman of the Working Group, highlighted the restoration, reconstruction, and development measures carried out in the country’s liberated territories under the instruction of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The expansion of the implementation of a modern approach that ensures energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy in these areas was positively assessed. It was noted that the construction of solar, wind, and hydroelectric power plants here will contribute to the development of Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur as a green energy zone.
Along with state agencies included in the Working Group, the meeting was attended by representatives of the Special Representatives of the President of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories and Restoration Construction and Management Service public legal entities, as well as the Shusha City State Reserve Administration, Azeristiliktechizat OJSC, and the Social Development Fund for IDPs. “Caspian Energy Media” reports with reference to the Ministry of Energy.
