Earlier this year, ASCO’s “Handysize” type dry cargo ship “Khojaly” departed from Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala’s largest seaport, carrying 33,000 tons of sugar. The vessel has successfully arrived at its destination.
Currently, “Khojaly” is conducting unloading operations at Crockett Port, near San Francisco, on the west coast of the United States.
This vessel was commissioned in May of last year as part of ASCO’s strategy to enhance its cargo transportation capabilities beyond the Caspian Sea and diversify its operational geography. “Caspian Energy Media” reports with reference to the “Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping”.
