Revenue from ACG declines

In January–September of this year, the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) received 6 billion 183.9 million manats (3 billion 637.5 million US dollars) from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) field. This is 21 percent lower than the same period last year.

According to AZERTAC, citing SOFAZ’s Revenue and Expenditure Statement for January–September of the current year, revenue from the Shah Deniz field increased by 12.5 percent (gas and condensate) during the same period, totaling 697 million manats (410 million US dollars).

In January–September 2024, SOFAZ received 4 billion 603.7 million US dollars from oil sales at the ACG field. Compared to the same period last year, revenue from the ACG field decreased by 12 percent over the first nine months of the current year.
