The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Türkiye is holding in Istanbul on 9–10 December the fifth meeting of energy ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). According to the ministry, under the chairmanship of Türkiye’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, bilateral negotiations are being conducted with representatives of the OTS Secretariat, energy ministers of the OTS member states — Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan — as well as with delegations from the observer countries — Hungary, Turkmenistan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Special attention will be paid to developing concrete steps and initiatives aimed at further deepening energy cooperation among the Turkic states.
