The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum kicks off in St. Petersburg

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) has officially begun in St. Petersburg.

The event will take place from June 18 to 21. The main theme of the forum is "Shared Values as the Foundation of Growth in a Multipolar World."

As part of the 2025 forum, approximately 150 sessions are scheduled across five key themes: “The Global Economy: A New Platform for Global Growth,” “The Russian Economy: A New Level of Growth,” “The Individual in a New World,” “Living Environment,” and “Technology: Pursuing Leadership.”

The guest country of SPIEF-2025 will be the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The forum will also feature 19 business dialogues, including: Russia–Africa, Russia–Bahrain, Russia–Brazil, Russia–Vietnam, Russia–EU, Russia–India, Russia–Indonesia, Russia–Iran, Russia–Kazakhstan, Russia–Kyrgyzstan, Russia–China, Russia–Latin America, Russia–Mongolia, Russia–UAE, Russia–Oman, Russia–Thailand, Russia–Uzbekistan, Russia–South Africa, and EAEU–ASEAN.

SPIEF has been held since 1997, and since 2006 it has been held under the patronage and with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation.
