Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova has had a meeting with the visiting delegation led by Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary Sándor Lezsák. As the conversation unfolded, they emphasised the existence of a strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Hungary, one that is based on friendship, mutual respect and close co-operation. It was also pointed out that our countries actively co-operate in the political, economic, energy, transport, agricultural, educational and other areas.

Besides, it was remarked at the meeting that our peoples shared similar values and that our humanitarian co-operation fostered a continued rapprochement of our peoples – as well as that the educational and cultural connexions are progressing successfully.
