On October 7, President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in the 12th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

The Turkish leader is accompanied on his visit by Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Head of the Directorate for Relations with Turkic States Kürşad Zorlu, Head of the Presidential Communications Directorate Burhanettin Duran, Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç, Chairman of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group Şamil Ayrım, and other officials.

The Summit is dedicated to the theme “Regional Peace and Security.” The meeting’s agenda includes pressing issues related to the further development and deepening of multilateral cooperation within the OTS framework.
